Have you ever considered being a writer? Not somebody that wants to do book signings and attend cocktail parties with literary agents but somebody that is willing to lock themselves away and grind out pieces?
On this episode Neal and Jay welcomed Kevin Williamson of National Review to the show to discuss his career as a writer. He also imparts a lot of his own advice to people – very practical and straightforward talk about what you should do, what kind of steps to take, how to deal with rejection, and more.
Kevin also tells a great story of when he was a theater critic with The New Criterion and tossed a woman’s cell phone out of the theater for being rude.
Also, Kevin has never seen Die Hard so they had to revert back to the Frank Sinatra vs. Dean Martin question! Listen to find out!
