This episode was a complete yin-yang in that it started off as a dark and dreary look at politics but ended up with an uplifting discussion about music.

Jeff Blehar joined Jay and Neal to discuss the GOP after Donald Trump in the first half of the show. It’s not a very uplifting portion of the show as Neal is not optimistic about what happens. Jeff is a tad less bleak and Jay is the only one that brings a ray of light to the show.

The second half the gang discussed music and it was much more fun. They discussed how they became fans of music, guilty pleasures and what music means to them. In fact, they all named three albums that should own before you die (Neal named two)

Jeff’s choices

The Color of Spring – Talk Talk

In Rainbows – Radiohead

Pavement – Crooked Rain, Crooked Rain

Neal’s choices

Smash – The Offspring

The London Philharmonic – Gustov Holst The Planets

Jay’s choices

Kind Of Blue – Miles Davis

Houses of The Holy – Led Zeppelin

El Camino – The Black Keys
